The Robot Dentist (real name Ian Squires) has been making and performing music for much of his life. Under this alter ego, his focus has been electro and dubstep, yet he still draws inspirations from a variety of past studied genres. He released his debut EP, entitled Bass Cavity in the winter of 2011. By the summer of 2012, he and label mate Enoptix won a nationwide competition for a slot on the main stage at the inaugural Spring Awakening Music Festival (headlined by Skrillex and Afrojack). After kicking off the festival and blowing away fans, he released his 2nd free EP, entitled Energy Axis, which was featured internationally on blogs and youtube channels.

His productions are intricate and balanced, remarkably recognizable yet different. His live sets are comprised of carefully selected tracks that all fit together to become a musical journey from start to finish. His entrance into the world of Djing was due in whole to his desire to perform his own, original, in your face dance music. This passion and his killer style that impresses with massive bass lines, beautiful melodic breakdowns, and robotic chaos make The Robot Dentist a must see electronic artist.
